You have a power supply and now you need to know what high-voltage connector types are required. As a result, and to complement our power supplies, Genvolt provides various types of high-voltage connector with output voltage ratings up to 60 kV.
Undoubtedly, decades of experience in the manufacture of power supplies have given us a clear understanding in the importance of providing a secure & safe high-voltage connection.
Equally important has been our constant R&D processes, that ensure our products can endure varying conditions and usage. Furthermore, our XLCG connectors work harmoniously when used in conjunction with our specialised UL3239 type Silicone Cable.
Additionally, and for full flexibility, you can select the cable type, suitable connector, cable length required, and flange when ordering from us.
Typical Applications For High Voltage Connectors
• Medical
• Scientific
• Industrial and Commercial Industries
• Electron Beam Welding
• NDT (non-destructive testing)
• Pulsed Power
• Fusion
• Plasma
• Research
• Particle Physics
Connector Cable Sizes
The Genvolt range of high-voltage connectors will accept the following high-voltage cable sizes:
100kV (R10)
160kV (R24)
225kV (R28)
350kV (R30)
30 kV High Voltage Connector Types
Our standard 30 kV high-voltage connectors are manufactured from Polyethylene. Comparatively our premium connectors are made of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), and both styles will accept high voltage cable rated up to 50 kV.
60 kV High Voltage Connector Types
For higher voltages we recommend our 60 kV high voltage connectors with their gold-plated spring contacts and outer housings made from PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene).
High Voltage Connector Design
Choosing the right HV cable type and connector types gives a unique stabilised high voltage connector solution, that perfectly matches the needs of each individual customer. For example, we would suggest using the 40 kV Silicone cable with our TV-style connectors.
